Desjoyaux Piping-Free Filtration

The Desjoyaux piping-free system is a compact filtration unit installed directly on the pool wall. Everything – the pump, coarse debris basket and filtration medium – is concentrated in a single block. The water is drawn in and returned without the need for underground piping, which significantly reduces the risk of leaks and simplifies installation.

Advantages include quick installation, minimal impact on the surrounding terrain and easy maintenance, as all components are accessible from the pool edge. The system is particularly suitable for family pools, renovations and locations where space for a technical room or excavation work is limited.

Classic Sand Filtration

Classic sand filtration uses a separate filter tank filled with sand and located in a technical room, which can be several meters away from the pool.

If the filtration system is installed below ground level, access via a ladder can be very complicated, especially for older people. Water is routed through piping from the skimmers and pool floor to the filter and back.

Disadvantages include more demanding excavation work, greater space requirements and a potential risk of leaks in the piping system, especially in older installations.
